WHM expands electric charging infrastructure

Wilhelm Herm. Müller GmbH & Co. KG (WHM) has launched four additional charging stations for electric cars and hybrid vehicles on its company premises in Garbsen. With these new stations, a total of 8 charging points is now available. In the short to medium term, WHM intends to convert the company vehicle fleet to climate-friendly hybrid and electric drives.

The charging points are now available to employees and visitors

They are easy to use, but an explanation of how to use them is also attached directly to the charging points themselves
“This is an important investment intended to give our employees incentive to use hybrid and electric vehicles. Electric mobility is the mobility of the future and as a company we want to do our part,” says director Michael Ellinger. The new charging stations located on the car park of the administrative building are also available to customers visiting the site.

The charging stations are equipped with a card reader that uses innovative RFID technology to record charging processes and attribute them to the user. Visitors and employees can get the necessary cards at the headquarters in the administrative building. Two vehicles at a time can be “refuelled” at each charging station.
